TEHRAN – Head of the Iran-North Korea parliamentary friendship group, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, has arrived in Pyongyang.

He is accompanied by a parliamentary delegation. The visit took place at the invention of his North Korean counterpart.

Boroujerdi is set to hold talks with the speaker of the North Korean parliament, the head of foreign relations committee, as well as the head and members of the friendship group, Mehr reported.

The delegation is expected to discuss issues of mutual interest and ways to expand bilateral relations with the North Korean parliamentary officials during their visit.
